Cheese Grits
Cheese Grits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. milk, 1/2 c. margarine, 1 c. regular grits, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. white pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Bring milk to a boil.
Add 1/2 cup margarine and stir in grits. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is the consistency of oatmeal.
Remove from heat; add salt and pepper.
Beat mixture with egg beater.
Add grated cheese and pour into a greased 2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
This can be made the day before and baked the morning of the brunch.
