Cheese Grits
Cheese Grits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. water, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. regular grits (not instant), 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Bring water to boil in medium saucepan.
Add salt and grits; return to boil.
Reduce to slow boil and cook for 20 minutes.
Set aside 2/3 cup cheese.
Add rest of cheese, butter and eggs to the cooked grits and mix well.
Pour into buttered casserole dish and top with the remaining 2/3 cup cheese.
Bake 30 minutes.
