Cheese Custard
Cheese Custard is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in just 50 minutes. Made with c. grated cheddar cheese or swiss cheese, whole eggs, c. milk, salt, pepper and dry mustard and grated onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Put grated cheese in baking dish, 1/3 full.
Beat the whole eggs; add salt, pepper, grated onion and milk.
Pour egg and milk mixture over cheese and top with a few pieces of butter.
Place in baking dish in pan of water and bake in slow oven for 1 hour.
May be left longer.
