πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions

Put cheese and margarine together in a bowl to soften while you prepare the bread.

Remove crusts from bread and cut into 16 large chunks, place chunks on a cookie sheet and put in the freezer for an hour or so, because they are easier to spread when they are frozen.

Now combine margarine and cheese spread, cream until smooth.

When ready, spread this mixture on all six sides of the bread chunks.

It's a messy job, so take off your rings first.

Put the cheesed bread back on the cookie sheet and back into the freezer until firm.

At this point, they can be dumped into a plastic bag and saved until needed or may be put directly in the oven without freezing the second time, but it's so messy that you won't want to do it at the last minute.

Bake at 375Β° until the edges are golden brown, about 10 minutes, but watch carefully, because it will burn easily.

Serves 4 to 5.
