Cheese Broccoli Rice
Cheese Broccoli Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. chopped fresh broccoli or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained, 1 stalk celery, chopped, 1 medium green pepper, chopped and 1 c. long grain rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In wok, melt butter or margarine over medium-high heat. Add celery green pepper.
Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
Add broccoli and uncooked rice; stir-fry 3 minutes longer.
Stir in water, soup, and salt.
Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until rice and broccoli are done, stirring often.
Makes 6 servings.
