Mix butter, mustard, onion and poppy seeds.

Cut the crust from the loaf - DO NOT remove the bottom crust.

Slice 3/4 of the way through the loaf every 1 to 1 1/2 inches. "Paint" the entire loaf with the mustard mixture (between the slices also-not the bottom).

Fold one or two slices of cheese and place between each bread slice across the loaf.

Top each slice of bread with a slice of partially cooked bacon.

Bake in a 350 degree oven of 15 minutes.

The cheese should appear "melty".

Place the loaf under the broiler to brown the bacon, watching closely so it doesn't burn.
