Cheese Boxes
Cheese Boxes is an easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks oleo, 3/4 lb. grated sharp cheese, 2 egg whites and day old sandwich bread (1 regular loaf), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Melt oleo and cheese over low heat.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add cheese mixture, beating until blended.
Stack 3 slices of bread, trim off crust.
Spread each layer and top with cheese mixture.
Cut stacks into 4 boxes.
Spread cheese mixture thinly around edges and top like icing.
Bake on cookie sheet at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 28 to 30.
Freeze and remove and bake as directed.
