Cheese Bits
Cheese Bits is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, softened, 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add cheese, beating well.
Combine flour, salt and red pepper; gradually add to cheese mixture, mixing well.
Cover and chill 1 hour.
Roll dough into 3/4-inch balls.
Place on baking sheets and freeze until firm.
Place in airtight container and put in freezer.
To serve, place frozen cheese balls on a baking sheet; bake at 400Β° for about 14 minutes.
