Cheese Biscuits
Cheese Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 tbsp. shortening and 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cut in shortening and shredded cheese until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Mixes better with the fingers than with a fork.
Add milk; stir until dampened.
Drop into a greased cookie sheet by heaping teaspoonfuls.
Bake at 450Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 16 biscuits.
