Cheese Biscuits
Cheese Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 6 c. self-rising flour, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. grated cheddar cheese and buttermilk (approximately 2 c., enough to mix), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift flour; add shortening and cheese.
Mix together.
Add buttermilk and knead together.
Turn dough on a lightly floured surface and knead together.
Roll dough out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured biscuit cutter.
Bake on a cookie sheet at 425Β° for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
