Cheese Ball
Cheese Ball is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, 1 small onion, peeled and quartered, 1 c. cocktail peanuts, 1/2 to 3/4 c. mayonnaise and 1/8 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut cheese into strips that will fit into chute of food processor.
Lock bowl into position and place shredder disc inside.
Cover.
Fill chute almost to the top with pieces of cheese.
Process at high speed to grate.
Remove shredder disc and cheese.
Position bowl again and put steel blade in place.
Chop onion at high speed.
Add cheese, peanuts, mayonnaise and seasonings.
Process to blend thoroughly at high speed.
Form into a ball.
Wrap in plastic wrap.
Chill thoroughly.
Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
