Cheese Apples
Cheese Apples is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 c. margarine and 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In 13 x 9-inch pan, put 2 thinly sliced zucchini squash or enough to make 1 1/2 to 2-inches deep in bottom of pan.
Salt to taste.
Slice enough onions to cover zucchini.
Slice enough fresh tomatoes to cover onions.
Sprinkle small package of Pepperidge Farm stuffing crumbs over tomatoes.
Drizzle 2/3 cup melted margarine over all.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until fork-tender.
