Cheddar Pennies is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, 1/2 tsp. salt, dash of cayenne pepper, 1/4 lb. margarine and 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Grate and work cheese and margarine together until creamy. With your hands, mix flour, salt and cayenne until smooth.
Chill dough for an hour, then roll to 1/2-inch thick on floured board and cut in rounds.
Place in preheated 350Β° oven and bake 15 minutes or until pale gold.
Good with soup and salad.
