Cheddar Ham Chowder
Cheddar Ham Chowder is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. water, 2 c. potatoes, peeled and cubed, 1/2 c. carrots, sliced, 1/2 c. celery, sliced and 1/4 c. onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In large saucepan, bring water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.
Remove from heat; do not drain.
In another saucepan, melt butter.
Blend in flour.
Add milk all at once; cook until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese; stir until melted.
Stir into vegetables.
Return saucepan to heat.
Add corn and ham; heat through, stirring occasionally.
