Cheddar Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. boiling water, 3 c. chopped potatoes, 1 c. chopped carrots, 1 c. chopped celery and 1/2 c. chopped onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Simmer water, vegetables and seasoning until tender.
Don't drain.
Make white sauce (milk, oleo and flour).
Add cheese. Stir until melted.
Add meat and vegetables.
Don't boil.
Serves 8.
