Chardonnay Chicken
Chardonnay Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 chicken breasts (boneless), pounded, 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 c. chardonnay wine, 1/4 c. lemon juice and 6 green onions, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Lightly flour chicken and fry in 4 tablespoons butter until golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side.
Place in warm oven. Add the other 4 tablespoons butter to pan.
Saute onions and garlic in butter; add wine and lemon juice.
Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
Add chicken to sauce; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
Makes 6 servings.
