Champagne Turkey
Champagne Turkey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. salt, 3/4 tsp. black pepper, 1 tsp. celery salt, 2 tbsp. soft butter and 2 sliced onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix together salt, black pepper and celery salt and rub inside and out of turkey.
Loosen skin from breast and rub with soft butter.
Roast for 30 minutes at 425°.
Mix together onions, thyme, consomme, parsley and flour.
Pour over turkey. Reduce oven to 325°.
Roast for 1 hour.
Champagne over turkey. Baste every 30 minutes until done, about 2 1/2 hours.
