Cake in 9 x 13-inch pan approximately 15 minutes. Cool. Spread drained pineapple over cake.
Mix pudding, milk and cream cheese together with mixer.
Put on cake.
Spread with Cool Whip and chopped nuts or maraschino cherries, cut up on top.
