Chalupas
Chalupas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. pork roast, 1 lb. pinto beans, 2 cloves chopped garlic, 2 tbsp. chili powder and 1 tbsp. cumin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Put all ingredients in large pan and cover with water.
Cook, covered, over low heat.
Add water as needed.
After approximately 6 hours, take bones out of meat and break meat up.
Then cook with lid off into thick mixture for 1 to 2 hours.
Serve over corn chips and add the following as desired: grated cheese, chopped onion, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced avocados and hot salsa.
Serves 12 to 14.
