Chalupas
Chalupas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 to 4 lb. chuck roast, 1 1/2 lb. pinto beans, 4 garlic cloves, chopped into halves, 2 pkg. chili seasonings and 2 tbsp. cumin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Place roast in large roasting pan.
Cover the roast with water. Then add all remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook at 250Β° for 8 hours.
Remove bones.
(Meat should cook to pieces.)
Stir meat mixture together.
Serve over Doritos.
Top with grated cheese, chopped onion, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, sliced ripe olives and picante sauce, if desired.
Serves a large group.
Can also be served with flour tortillas.
