Cavatini
Cavatini is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large jar prego sauce (meat flavor), 1 1/2 medium green peppers, cut up, 14 1/2 oz. can tomatoes, 1 garlic clove, minced and 1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Brown hamburger.
Drain grease; set aside.
Cook sauce, tomatoes and brown sugar for 45 minutes.
Mix sauce with browned hamburger, onions, garlic, green pepper, salt and pepper.
Add mushrooms and simmer for 35 minutes.
Cook noodles; layer noodles with cubed cream cheese, shredded Mozzarella cheese, sauce, noodles, more sauce and cheese.
Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan at 325Β° until cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
