Cavatina
Cavatina is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. italian cooking sauce, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 large bell pepper, thinly sliced, 1 large onion, thinly sliced and 1 can sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix the different pasta together and cook in boiling water until tender.
While pasta is cooking, brown ground beef in skillet.
Remove beef from skillet and use drippings to saute bell pepper and onion slices until tender.
Add mushroom slices and heat thoroughly.
Drain off excess drippings from vegetables.
In large casserole dish, layer the following
Pasta mixture, vegetables, beef, pepperoni, cheese and sauce.
Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
Bake at 350Β° until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
Serve with French bread and a green salad.
