Catfish Stew
Catfish Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 bottle tabasco sauce, 3 extra large cans tomato soup or 16 small cans, 6 (1 lb. 12 oz.) bottles ketchup, 3 c. oil (make this half fatback oil and half vegetable oil) and 1 large mixing bowl of onions, chopped up, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oil and add onions.
Cook until tender, then add soup.
Use enough water to clean out soup cans, then add ketchup and use enough water to clean bottles.
Add salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce.
Bring to a slow boil.
Stir bottom and turn down heat to simmer.
Add fish and cook for 1 hour.
Stir occasionally.
This feeds approximately 62 people?
This recipe can be shortened to 1/2 or 1/4, etc.
