Carrots Concerto
Carrots Concerto is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter or oleo, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 2 tbsp. honey, 2 tsp. finely chopped orange peel and 6 medium carrots, thinly sliced on the bias (3 c.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In medium saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
Stir in brown sugar, honey, orange peel, salt and pepper.
Add carrots and cook uncovered over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until carrots are just tender-crisp.
Stir mixture occasionally.
Makes 4 servings.
