Blend sugar, oil and eggs, one at a time, with wooden spoon. Add the dry ingredients.
Add the carrots, pineapple and nuts last.
Mix well and pour into well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes (according to oven).
Frost with buttercream icing or Philadelphia cream cheese frosting.
