Carrot Cake
Carrot Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. vegetable oil, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, sifted, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine oil and sugar.
Sift remaining dry ingredients.
Sift 1/2 dry ingredients into sugar/oil mixture.
Alternate remaining dry ingredients with eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add carrots and nuts; mix well.
Pour into lightly oiled 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
Bake in slow oven (325Β°) about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Let cake cool slightly before removing from pan. When cool, frost with cream cheese or Caramel Frosting.
