Carob-Date Syrup
Carob-Date Syrup is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with c. water, c. soft dates and c. carob powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into container and add 1 cup of water.
(Use this to rinse out the blender.)
Stir well.
Use 5 tablespoons syrup to one cup water to make a delicious hot or cold drink.
Mix 1/2 cup rice milk with 1/2 cup water and add 4 tablespoons carob syrup.
Blend until smooth.
Also may use as a hot syrup.
Delicious on bananas with chopped nuts sprinkled on top.
