Cardamon Butter is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. crushed cardamon seed, 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar and 1 1/2 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter or margarine in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in cardamon seed, vinegar and sugar.
Strain the sauce, if desired.
Good on beets, whole kernel corn and carrots.
Yield: 1/4 cup.
