Caramels
Caramels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. oleo, 1 lb. brown sugar, 1 c. white karo, 1 can eagle brand milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt the oleo.
Add the brown sugar; stir until mixed well. Add the Karo and Eagle Brand; boil to 236Β°, stirring constantly. Add the vanilla and nuts, if desired; mix well.
Pour into buttered pans; chill 2 hours.
Cut, put in wrappers and store.
