Caramel Walnut Bars
Caramel Walnut Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1 egg, beaten, 3/4 c. butter and 3/4 c. walnuts, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and egg; cut in 1/2 cup butter until crumbly.
Stir in walnuts. Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture.
Press remainder of mixture in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels with condensed milk and 1/4 cup butter.
Pour over crust.
Top with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly.
Cut into bars.
