Caramel Topping
Caramel Topping is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 tbsp. cream, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. chopped nuts and 1/2 c. coconut (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine butter and cream in small mixing bowl.
Microwave at Medium 1 1/4 to 3 minutes or until butter is melted.
Stir in brown sugar, nuts and/or coconut. Spread carefully on warm cake. Microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes or until topping bubbles in a few spots.
Use as frosting on Oatmeal Cake.
