Caramel Pound Cake
Caramel Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter, softened, 1 lb. plus 1 c. light brown sugar, 1/2 c. cooking oil, 5 eggs and 3 1/2 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream the butter, sugar and oil until light.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to sugar mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake in a 350Β° oven 60 to 65 minutes until done.
Cool cake 30 minutes and remove from pan.
Ice cake.
