Caramel Pie
Caramel Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar (1 c. dark brown and 1/2 c. white sugar), 1 c. pet milk, 4 tbsp. margarine, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 5 tbsp. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix sugars, egg yolks and flour.
Add milk and water, a little at a time, until all mixed well.
Add salt.
Cook in doubler boiler until thick.
Add butter and vanilla; mix good.
Pour into prebaked pie shell.
Top with meringue.
