Caramel Pie
Caramel Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, separated, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. milk and 3 heaping tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Beat egg yolks and add milk.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar with flour, getting out all lumps.
Add to egg mixture. Warm in saucepan, stirring well.
Caramelize the other 1/2 cup sugar in heavy skillet; brown, do not burn!
Add butter to make a syrup.
Pour this into other mixture.
Cook until thick.
Pour into prepared pie shell.
Beat egg whites until stiff; put on top of pie.
