Caramel Nut Candy Bars
Caramel Nut Candy Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. caramels (about 30), 3 tbsp. milk, 3 tbsp. margarine or butter, 1 c. powdered sugar and 1 (12 oz.) can peanuts (2 1/2 c.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Lightly grease 8-inch square pan.
Combine caramels and milk in top of a double boiler and cook until caramels are melted, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Add margarine and mix well.
Stir in powdered sugar and beat by hand until smooth.
Stir in peanuts. With buttered fingers, press mixture into pan.
Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, until firm.
Cut into bars.
Store in refrigerator.
