Caramel Nut Acorns
Caramel Nut Acorns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sifted flour, 7/8 c. butter, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/3 c. finely chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Butter
2-quart square casserole pan over low heat. Stir in brown sugar, vanilla
1/3 cup pecans.
Add dry ingredients, mixing a rounded teaspoon.
Flatten on one side.
Pinch top to resemble an acorn. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15 to 18 minutes at 350Β°.
Melt caramels and water in of double boiler or microwave.
Dip bottom of acorn in caramel
1/4 inch deep. Then in crushed pecans.
