Caramel Layer Cocoa Squares is an easy dinner. Made with 14 oz. pkg. caramels, 1/3 c. carnation milk, 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips, 1 box german chocolate cake mix and 1/2 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt caramels and milk in a saucepan.
Mix cake mix, oleo and water together until crumbly.
Press 1/2 of dough in bottom of greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
Spread chocolate chips on baked crust, then spread caramel mixture on. Sprinkle remaining dough on top.
Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Let cool and serve.
