Caramel Icing
Caramel Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 2 sticks oleo, 1 c. pet milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Bring first 3 ingredients to boil.
Brown 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet and pour into mixture.
Cook to soft ball. Add vanilla.
Mixer until light color and ready to spread. May use adding nuts and placing in a buttered dish.
I always use Duncan Hines Butter cake mix.
