Caramel Icing
Caramel Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk, 2/3 stick oleo, 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Brown 1/2 cup sugar in an iron skillet.
Boil 1 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup milk.
Have both of these going at the same time.
When sugar is brown, pour boiling mixture into the browned sugar and remove from stove.
Add 2/3 stick oleo, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and salt.
Beat until thick enough to spread.
