Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. karo syrup, 2 c. light brown sugar, 1 c. margarine, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Boil Karo syrup, brown sugar and margarine in a saucepan for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add the vanilla and stir.
Add the baking soda and stir until the mixture stops rising.
Pour over the popcorn and mix.
Put the caramel corn in two 9 x 11-inch cake pans and cook in a 225Β° oven for 1 hour.
Stir the caramel corn every 15 minutes.
Break apart the caramel corn while it is still warm.
