Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 qt. popped popcorn (1/2 c. unpopped), 1/2 c. oleo, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 3 c. unsalted nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine popped corn and nuts in a large roasting pan.
In medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, oleo and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Boil for 4 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and nuts; toss to coat well. Bake for 60 minutes in a 250Β° oven, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and break apart.
Store in airtight container.
Makes 4 quarts.
