Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. popcorn, popped to make 5 qt., 2 c. brown sugar, packed firmly, 1 tsp. salt, 2 c. salted peanuts and 1 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Pop the popcorn and put in large roaster pans in oven.
Then combine margarine, sugar, Karo and salt.
Cook and boil to firm ball stage.
Remove from heat and add soda and stir in.
Pour hot syrup over popped corn and nuts.
Stir all until coated.
Return to oven at 250Β°, stirring every 15 to 20 minutes.
Bake 30 minutes more.
Makes 5 quarts.
Store in airtight container.
