Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. popped popcorn, 3/4 c. packed brown sugar, 6 tbsp. butter or margarine, 3 tbsp. light corn syrup and 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Remove all unpopped kernels.
Put popcorn into a 17 x 2 x 2-inch baking pan.
In a saucepan combine sugar, butter or margarine and corn syrup.
Cook over medium heat until butter melts and mixture comes to a boil.
Cook without stirring for 5 minutes more.
Remove from heat.
Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn.
Stir to coat popcorn.
Bake for 15 minutes; stir and bake 5 to 10 minutes more.
Pour corn into a large bowl; cool.
Makes 8 cups.
