Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 qt. plain popped corn (1 c. unpopped corn, popped in 1/2 c. oil yields 5 qt. popped corn), 1 c. raw peanuts (optional), 1 c. margarine, 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar and 1/2 c. light karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Pop corn.
Place in dishpan.
Combine butter, sugar and syrup in a large pan; bring to a boil.
Boil 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat and add salt, soda and vanilla.
(It will foam.)
Pour over popcorn and stir to coat.
Bake in oven at 250Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Can be doubled or tripled.
