Margarine, sugar, salt and corn syrup to a boil, stirring constantly.
Without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove add soda and vanilla and pour over popcorn. Mix large buttered baking pans. Bake at 250Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
(Optional: peanuts can be added and stirred in the last 30 minutes of baking.)
