Caramel Cheesecake
Caramel Cheesecake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. caramel ice cream topping (smucker's), 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Butter 9-inch round cake pan.
Purée topping into pan.
In large bowl, beat cream cheese smooth.
Add in sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth after each addition. Carefully pour cheese mixture over caramel topping.
Set pan into a larger pan.
Add 1/2 to 3/4 inch boiling water to large pan.
Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
Then separate from pan with a knife onto serving plate.
Cover and chill.
