Caramel Brownies
Caramel Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 sticks melted margarine, 1/3 c. evaporated milk, duncan hines deluxe swiss chocolate cake mix, 14 oz. kraft caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix together butter, evaporated milk and cake mix.
Spread half of mixture in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake for 6 minutes at 350°. Melt caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Mix together.
(Note: This burns easily, even in microwave.) Pour chocolate chips and pecans over hot bottom layer and spread caramel mixture on top. Put remaining cake mixture on top.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.
