Caramel Bars
Caramel Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 bag kraft caramels, 8 tbsp. milk, 2 sticks plus 2 tbsp. oleo, 1 1/8 c. brown sugar and 1 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt caramels and milk in double boiler.
Mix together oleo, sugar, flour, soda, salt and oatmeal.
Put 1/2 the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan (don't pat down).
Bake 10 minutes at 350Β°.
Add 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips and walnuts (chopped).
Pour caramel mix on top, then sprinkle rest of dough on top.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes more.
