Caramel Bars
Caramel Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1 c. oatmeal, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. soda and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine flour, oatmeal, sugar, soda, salt and margarine.
Save a little for topping.
Place the mixture in the bottom of an 11 x 7-inch pan.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350°.
Melt caramels.
Add milk or cream; sprinkle chips and pecans over mixture in pan. Spread caramel mixture over this; top with remaining crumbs.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
