Caramel Bars
Caramel Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 32 light caramels, 5 tbsp. milk, 1 c. flour, 1 c. oatmeal and 3/4 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Melt caramels in milk in double boiler.
Combine all other ingredients except chocolate chips and nuts.
Press in a 9 x 13-inch pan, reserving a portion of mixture for top.
Bake 10 minutes at 350°.
Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on baked crust; pour on caramel mixture.
Add remaining crumbs and sprinkle nuts on top.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350° until brown. Makes 24 bars.

15 bars.
